“I used to teach classes on traditional tea and tea culture, which were pretty popular. So I was thinking about opening a dedicated training facility for tea ceremonies and tea culture. And I also thought it would be nice to have a space inside the Hanok Village where people could not only learn about tea, but also enjoy a comfortable stay. That’s why I decided to open Ye Da Won.”
Since I was interested in art and I started teaching classes on tea. That is when I came up with the name “Ye Da Won,” which means a space full of art and tea.
We have a tea plantation that we harvest ourselves, so we offer tea made ourselves to our guests. We also have tea ceremony classes, dyeing classes, and Hanbok etiquette classes. Our guests often return to us, telling us how memorable our ambiance, our tea, and our refreshments were. In particular, our international guests really enjoyed our tea ceremony classes.
Ye Da Won is a place where you can come at any time,d enjoy a nice cup of tea, and relax.
