Bibimbap (rice topped with meat and assorted vegetables) is my destiny. My grandfather and father both put their hearts and souls into it. Whilst I studied Bibimbap and Korean cooking, I opened Gogung Suragan here in Jeonju Hanok Village in 2016.
Our Bibimbap is authentic. A bowl of Bibimbap embraces the efforts that my family has made for more than 40 years. Our work is valuable beyond estimation. I am proud and pleased to serve our Bibimbap at an affordable price.
However, unfortunately, there is a widespread perception that Bibimbap is expensive. I will continue to offer budget-friendly, flavorful meals. Like my father and grandfather, I will strive for the development and popularization of Bibimbap.
