“I was looking for something I could do, and something I wanted to do. I loved Hanok architecture, so I opened Trega to offer people a serene and relaxing place where they could come and enjoy a comfortable stay.”
We chose the name Trega, which means “house with a garden,” because it is easy to say and remember.
Our house has two buildings facing each other, and a courtyard in the middle, so our guests can sit on the living room floor and enjoy the comforts of nature. Moreover, our house has elements borrowed from wide-open exhibition halls. It has artworks created by our ancestors showcased near the entrance and inside the main building. That is why some of our guests call our place a “museum guest house.”
We pay great attention to cleanliness and comfort, focusing on providing a safe and trustworthy place to stay. At Trega, we want to make sure our guests have a cozy, heart-warming time at the Hanok Village, with plenty of things to see and do.
