“The moment I saw the Hanok Village for the first time, I really liked its cozy and quiet ambiance. I really wanted to live in a beautiful Hanok while meeting to new people and having interesting conversations. As a host, I wanted to see people enjoy the way I decorate my home according to my own tastes and sensibilities, which is why I decided to open Gangneongjeon.” Gangneongjeon is what our ancestors used to call the king’s bedroom. I named my place Gangneongjeon to signal that here, guests can expect a cozy and comfortable night like a king would have in his own bedroom. Since we are located in an alley close to the main street that passes through the Hanok Village, Gangneongjeon is really easy to find. It is also very quiet and cozy at the same time. On top of that, our rooftop offers a superb view of tiled roofs nearby and the clear sky. Gangneongjeon is a duplex, which is why we are a popular choice among families with children. Gangneongjeon is a comfortable and cozy place where you can enjoy a good night’s sleep and rest your body and mind completely in the heart of the Hanok Village.
