I love to interact with people. After I regained my composure during a business trip to Jeonju Hanok Village, I began to find something to do there. I thought a guesthouse host would suit me best.
To convey the warmth and happiness I feel when I look at the blue sky, I named this guesthouse ‘Haneul Giwa’; ‘haneul’ and ‘giwa’ literally means ‘sky’ and ‘roof’ in Korean. I still look up to the sky several times a day when resting.
I hope that those who visit here will also heal themselves while sitting on the porch and watching décor items prepared by me and that Haneul Giwa will bear a resemblance to their grandparents’ house.
At Haneul Giwa, the sky and roof harmonize well.
