Poong Nam Heon is located in Pungnam-dong. My father, who loves old things, chose this house. Since 1933, it has stood in the same place before Jeonju Hanok Village was established.
Amenities were added to the old house for convenience. Preserving traditions, tile roofing was done by an Important Intangible Cultural Heritage holder, who was responsible for restoring Sungnyemun Gate.
The house features curved rafters and courtyard view guestrooms. The lush square courtyard seen from the room stimulates sensibility.
Like Poong Nam Heon, I hope your travel memories will persist longer.
