I often visited Jeonju. While I walked in every nook and corner, I entered an unfamiliar alley and found this 40-year-old house. I immediately fell in love with it.
Remodeling the house, I set up a small hands-on pottery studio. Each room has its own visitors’ book, where guests are asked to write messages or anything they want to say. Those revisiting here especially like to have a look at it.
I decorated the spaces with my paintings and craft works. When my efforts are recognized, I feel happy.
I will make The Blue Cradle a place in which people stay calm and content, like a cradle; ‘yolam’ is ‘cradle’ in Korean.
