While living a busy life, I longed for a break. I desired to share simple delicious meals and a cup of hot tea with my acquaintances in Hanok (traditional Korean house) with a yard. Yi O Dang is the result of making a commitment to my dream.
It is said that the mythical phoenix only perches on the paulownia tree. I hope special guests like the phoenix will come and rest here. The name ‘Yi O Dang’ originates from Imokdae and Omokdae.
A 310-year-old persimmon tree and a 200-year-old crape myrtle stand in the garden. There is another fun encountering a variety of bonsai trees, suiseki stones, and vintage pieces. Outdoor lighting enhances the appeal of Hanok at night.
Enjoy a restful day on the porch in the company of family and friends.
