I like traditional Korean music, which harmonizes with nature. To combine the charms of music and Hanok (traditional Korean house) and showcase them, I operate Sori Pung-gyeong.
Rooms are named after five Pansori (musical storytelling) works and main characters in them. I introduce a wide array of music programs held at Hanbyeokdang Pavilion and other places in Jeonju Hanok Village. Sori Pung-gyeong is a house embracing sound.
I remodeled a 110-year-old house. Guests are amazed by an aura of age from a well, a straw cutter, and several vintage items. I also offer easy hands-on activities—making coasters and hand mirrors with Hanji (traditional Korean paper).
This is Sori Pung-gyeong, a Hanok guesthouse in which Korean sound blends beautifully with natural surroundings.
