For several decades since 1953, my family lived here in this house. I left home for a while and came back to find my memories back. In 2013, repair works began to utilize it as accommodation.
The guesthouse is named after the pen name of my dad, an Intangible Cultural Heritage for falconry. I am planning a travel program encompassing Jeonju and Baekun-myeon, Imsil, where he worked. Baekun-myeon is also blessed with a wide range of attractions.
I tried to save the original features of Hanok (traditional Korean house): paper flooring, paper sliding door, and door design. For guests’ convenience, modernity was added as well.
I expect that my guests will feel comfort and delight at Moheon as we did.
