I spent my childhood next to Jeonju Hanok Village. I came to Jeonju Hanok Village frequently to play with my friends. Influenced by one who operates a restaurant, I had a mind to move here.
The garden is filled with 100-year-old peonies with a pine tree standing in the middle. ‘Moran’ means ‘peony’ in Korean.
I remodeled this house, which was built in 1940, for guests’ convenience and took extra care of bathrooms. The backyard is great for outdoor entertaining.
In May, peonies in full bloom invite both my overnight guests and passersby. With or without blooming flowers, Moran is still an attractive place to visit.
