In the face of hectic schedules, I decided to return to my hometown, Jeonju. While I strolled around Jeonju Hanok Village, the moment I stood still looked like a painting. I hoped to show the sight I experienced to other people as well. That is why I happened to run a guesthouse business.
I named it ‘Greem’—the Korean word ‘Greem’ means ‘painting,’ because I want to draw stories with guests under the scenic views of Jeonju Hanok Village. I enjoy talking to people of different ages and regions and learning about their culture. As I am also fond of traveling, I can understand travelers’ needs and expectations.
Built in 1940, the building itself is a rare old Hanok (traditional Korean house) in the neighborhood—a genuine vintage house. Located near Hyanggyo-gil, it is a good place to be lost in thought or walk quietly.
I would like to present you with a picturesque scene.
