“When I came to the Hanok Village on a trip, I felt like it really gave me a chance to rest and take care of myself. From the pretty roof tiles to spacious courtyards, I fell in love with the wonderful charm of Hanok houses, so I quit my job and moved to Jeonju. I started Haru because I wanted to share these good memories and emotions I experienced with everyone coming to Jeonju and the Hanok Village.”
Traveling is about getting away from the ordinary to enjoy an exciting and special day. I named my place “Haru” because I wanted people who come to have a special day that they can remember for a long time.
Haru is a 110-year-old traditional Hanok house, which has been preserved in its original form with all of the traditional rafters and framework that look beautiful to this day. The cute and pretty props and the sunlight shining through the wide courtyard soothes and heals the mind and body depleted from the mundane, day-to-day responsibilities. Our guests love Haru, and a lot of them say they would actually love to live in a place like Haru.
At Haru, we strive to present a special, invaluable day to those looking for a break from their busy life.
