I love the residents and tourists of Gyo-dong, in which I have lived for 34 years. Because I like to share warmth and home-cooked food with my neighbors, I opened a restaurant here and named it ‘Gyodong Sarang.’
The menu to boast about is Kimchi Jjigae (Kimchi stew), made with fresh Ogyeopsal (skin-on pork belly)—which is supplied by Chukhyeop every day. The recipe is my own creation. Ogyeopsal comes with Mugeunji (aged Kimchi), which I make and store at a low temperature, Kale Jangajji (pickles), and many different side dishes. I believe this is a balanced meal.
All the side dishes are prepared by ourselves. Thankfully, our customers recognize our dedicated endeavors.
We always try to convey deliciousness and happiness.
