“The first time I got here, I absolutely loved the view of Gyeonggijeon Hall. So I thought that it would be really nice to spend some time here having a cup of tea. That idea ultimately became Taejoro 39. It’s a place where people can rest and heal.”
While looking for a unique signage in Korean, I thought it would be easier for people to remember and find this place if I just used the road address as the name of my cafe. That is how I came up with the name “Taejoro 39.”
Our main item on the menu is our Ssanghwatang, hand-made by an oriental medicine doctor, and Daechucha made with high-quality Jujube and other ingredients. We make beverages with ingredients that our customers can trust and enjoy, and we have decorated our interior with antiques with a lot of trees so visitors can enjoy some peace of mind and heal themselves at Taejoro 39.
Taejoro 39 is a place where everyone can enjoy a cup of tea while taking in the beautiful scenery, regardless of the season, of Gyeonggijeon Hall.
