Tobagi Sugbak
Tobagi Sugbak, where an amiable host with 50 years of residence awaits you
For 50 years, I have lived in Jeonju Hanok Village. Confident in introducing the history and tradition of Jeonju, I would like to share my experience and knowledge with those from different regions. In order to carry out my wishes, I came to open Tobagi Sugbak. ‘Tobagi’ means ‘native’ in Korean. I am a native of Jeonju, who hopes to spread the cultural traits of Jeonju Hanok Village. Because cooking is allowed, a lot of group guests come here. Whenever I see people eating together on the outdoor bench, which my family has also used for more than 40 years, I think of my parents. The rooftop offers enjoyment—savoring tea with a view and soaking up the sun. I always prepare common medicines in case of an emergency. Tobagi Sugbak is a delightful and safe place to stay and visit.
