This house was initially built in 1925 and underwent repairs in 2017. While I tried to maintain the traditional elements, using old materials, some parts were renovated for guests’ convenience. By doing so, Sungshim, a fusion Hanok, was born. Signifying ‘sincerity,’ the name ‘Sungshim’ demonstrates my willingness to provide my undivided attention to everyone. As I am native of Jeonju, I can introduce hidden gems and my must visits to my guests, which keeps them coming back. The front yard is harmonized well with a tall pine tree standing outside the wall.
