Sarang Gadeuk
Sarang Gadeuk, a beautiful Hanok filled with cypress scents
As a fan of Hanok (traditional Korean house), I enjoy overlooking the view outside my house. I also like chatting with people. Therefore, managing a Hanok guesthouse is perfect for me. While looking for a sweet and easy-to-pronounce name, I chose ‘Sarang Gadeuk,’ meaning ‘full of love.’ All guestrooms are made of cypress. We use quality cotton comforters. Because Jeonju Hyanggyo (local Confucian school), next to the guesthouse, is used as a wedding venue, newlyweds and their guests often stay with us. Our guests love the building itself, a tidy courtyard as well as sunset glow and night scene they are able to watch here. I hope that the warmth and affection they receive in Hanok will last long.
