Darak
Darak with a quaint atmosphere
I considered moving back to Jeonju Hanok Village along with my parents, who lived in the suburb of Jeonju. In order to retain the feature of Hanok (traditional Korean house), every room has a small loft. ‘Darak’ means ‘loft’ in Korean. Wood from five demolished Hanoks was used as a building material. These efforts enable us to convey the charms of the old. I am so happy to share them with our guests. The guests often say that this guesthouse reminds them of their grandparents’ house, their memorable place. I am so grateful that they recognize our hard work. Enjoy the genuine beauty of Hanok here at Darak.
