my name is Alexandre. My wife Maeva and my daughters Louise and Gabrielle.
"We are a French family traveling around the world for a year. We decided to spend 40 days in South Korea and looking for places to visit on internet and in our travel guides. We found Jeonju Hanok Village and it seems really beautiful. We decided to stay 3 nights to enjoy the atmosphere of the place.
Upon arriving, we enjoyed the streets with not to much cars. We also liked being able to come out at night with fewer people in the streets, it made the village more authentic. We slept in a traditional house on futons to push the experience to the fullest.
The Jeonju Snail Trail is also a very good idea of the city. It allowed us to walk in small deserted streets and see pretty old houses with beautiful gardens. We were able to visit a really beautiful fan museum and a photography printing workshop on Jeonju paper.
We also read that Jeonju was knowxn for its food and we were not disappointed. We loved Jeonju Bibimbap and the Korean barbecus. Healthy food for the whole family and above all an inimitable taste.
The plus of the hanok village was the possibility of putting on hanbok. Our girls imagined themselves to be Korean princesses from another era. And I must admit that even parents have taken to the game of disguise.
To conclude, we were delighted with our stay in Jeonju and recommend everyone take the time to visit this Hanok village which deserves more than a day trip.
A relaxing stay for us four.
